I saw an Aston Rapide while leaving the Texans game. Seeing that car always reminds me of another Rapide, one that's just as beautiful: the DeHavilland D.H.-89 Dragon Rapide

Only one picture now, I can do a full write up if anyone is interested but I'm stuck with mobile until tomorrow, which is challenging.

One of the most beautiful planes of all time, maybe even the most beautiful. Certainly its one of the most epic passenger planes ever.

DeHavilland was on a roll back then. I think this is proof that the most effective designs are often the most aesthetically pleasing.
